Besdies Ms. Kelley Clark who is the director and main teacher at the studio, there is also a wonderfully talented staff who helps to create, shape and influence our students.  It is important to Ms. Clark that she offers the very best education toher students no matter how recreational or professional dance is to them.  Teachers and Guest teachers are carefully selected and these teachers are, like Ms. Clark, willing to go above and beyond for the students.  These amazing people that are part of our dance family are such great role models for our students.  Take a moment to meet them here..........

rick

Ricardo Machado is celebrating his 16th year with our studio. "Mr. Rick" came to us after experiencing dance life at Bridgewater State College.   He quickly picked up on many styles of dance but found ballet to be his favorite. After years of dancing, studying, reading, attending performances and trying his hand at choreography, Rick was aksed to officially join our staff for education. Rick has taken years of classes in classical ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, muscial theatre and pas de deux.  Rick has danced many years in pricipal roles for our own Braintree Ballet Copany. His partnering skills are outstanding and work ethic is one to be admired.  He embraces all that our studio stands for and is constantly thought to be a motivator and mentor for all of our students.  He has graced our audience with his choreography in ballet, tap, jazz, pas de duex, lyrical, modern and musical theatre.   He always has something new ready to show us and excite us. It is an honor to have him on staff.

katie

Katherine Shiels , who started wiht our school at the young age of 8, graduated and received her Bachelaor of Arts from the University of Tampa, Florida.  While dancing her way through college, Katie also taught dance for a local dance studio near her school.  Now back home and working as an elementary school teacher, Katie also teaches dance classes for our studio. The children will all agree that Katie's hip hop classes are exciting and fun. Katie has studied classical ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, modern, musical theatre and hip hop over the last 18 years of her dance education. She brings a fresh new outlook on education and works well with all ages. We are thrilled to have her with us now and look forward to many years of her inspriation in the art of dance.

donna

Donna Ryan is no stranger to the studio.  Donna started with us 16 years ago and has been a joy to have on board.  She grew up dancing at the Boston Ballet School but then took time off later in life to get married and then become a mom.  Donna found our ballet company through one of our dancers and quickly jumped back into dance.  It was not long before Doona was starring in pricipal and solist roles in with our ballet company.  She has also been training in tap, jazz, lyrcial, and much more besides just her classical studies.  After spending a few seasons of assisting the pre-ballet program as well as working as a rehearsal coach for the ballet company, Donna became one of the regular pre-ballet teachers at our school.  She loves children and has such a passion for helping them enjoy dance. Donna has a welcoming and caring way to approach teaching and the children just adore her, as do we!

steph

Guest teacher, Stephanie (Orion) Imbornone, is a graduate of Dean College and has her Bachelor of Arts in dance.  Stephanie is an amazing teacher with so much energy that you can get tired from watching her. Our students get so excited when they know she is coming to teach a class.  They adore her!  Her classes are educational, inspirational and motivating.  She has worked our students into a deep sweat while challenging their skills at modern, hip hop and contemporary styles of dance.  Stephanie has also used her "mock audition class" to show the students what it is like if they decide to ever pursue a dance career and what professional auditions are really like.  She is a kind person and knows how to educate dancers to want to be their best without forcing them.  Stephanie is currently living and dancing in LA California where she has worked on numerous projects, appeared in a short film, danced for music artists live performances, and teaches dance. Stephanie makes our studio one of her first stops when she comes home to visit her family who lives locally to us.    We miss her when she is gone but look forward to her visits and her awesome classes.

 jeff

Jeffrey ( Tage) Louizia, our "King of Hip Hop" is one of our favorites.  One of our guest faculty members, Jeffrey currently living in LA California, comes home often to be with family and always finds plenty of time to visit us and teach a great class.  His fusion styles really allow our trained dancers to express their technique in ways they don't normally see or feel in the more classical styles.  Jeffrey teaches hip, hop, tap, modern, contemporary and Afro-Haitian dance.  He goes well beyond the rules of choreography and thrills both dancers and audiences with his gift for the art of dance.  A graduate of Dean College, Jeffrey currently holds his Bachelor of Arts in dance and teaches at many dance studios as well as guest taught at the Boston Conservatory, Boston Arts Academy and much more.  Now in LA he has worked on a short film, dances for live shows/concerts, appeared in a Black Eyed Peas video, and has been busy working on other dance projects.  He is currently dancing with the Daurden Contemporary Dance Theatre. Jeffrey is a true gem and one we are so so happy to have as part of our dance family- even if it is part time for now.
